Diesel and Charlie are continuing their busy schedule and we've had some exciting times. They continue to visit their patients at the Miami VA Hospital. The cats just love all of the attention. Their latest video of a VA Hospital visit was done by reporter Emily Oz on March 8, 2008. The video,Rare Cats Provide Therapy For Veterans along with a full story, can be found on ZooToo.com Visit their Video Page to see all of their videos.

Diesel and Charlie participated in the Wildlife Care Center's Walk for Wildlife this spring. As usual, there were lots of dogs, but they don't mind. Jeff Corwin remebered them from last year. He got to hold Diesel this year. This is a fun event and we plan to be there again in 2009.

Diesel was shown in Tampa and Ft. Myers in July. He did very well in Ft. Myers and finaled in five out of six rings. He is now about the largest Maine Coon being shown. His next show will be in Fort Lauderdale in October. Charlie continues to do well following her surgeries. She is one big, beautiful girl. While she is retired from the show ring (way too much tortitude around other cats), she is still one of the most photographed faces whenever she accompanies her brother to a show. The cats now have a little sister, Bachan, who is a 17 month old Doberman puppy. All of them get along very well.

We are often asked what we feed Diesel and Charlie. An important part of their diet includes Feline's Pride. These products are minimally processed and provide a convenient way to give our "kids" a natural feline diet. They have tried and love all of the different varieties!
